Double Irish Chain Wedding Quilt

For our wedding my mother, Wendy, made us a beautiful wedding quilt in my favorite pattern, the double irish chain. She used really rich fabrics with gold print, and had it quilted in a large chrysanthemum pattern.

Here is a close up, I tried to capture the fabric patterns and the quilting...but apparently my camera has limits. You can see the great skill my mom has in quilting. If there was a mismatched corner on this entire quilt, I couldnt' find it! Rich and I are both so happy that she could take the time to make us a truly heirloom piece.
